Competition heats up in race for new state Senate district

To the average Peninsula voter, Brisbane and Sunnyvale have little in common. The former is a small, industrial suburb on San Francisco's doorstep, the latter a high-tech hub in the heart of Silicon Valley.

I'm supporting Sally Lieber. She's excellent on the issues. She's responsive to the electorate. Jerry Hill doesn't even answer email.

Hill is supported by the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and seems to think that working to find a middle ground for Big Pharma is something to brag about. That's all I need to know to get solidly behind Lieber.

The 39th annual Moonlight Run and Walk is Friday evening, September 29. Join us under the light of the full Harvest Moon on a 5K walk, 5K run, 10K run or half marathon. Complete your race in person or virtually.
