Original post made by NFahrenthold, Duveneck/St. Francis, on Jul 6, 2008

Why is the Palo Alto wide Garage Sale only every two years? Surely this is not expensive to organize and benefits everyone? Sellers clear stuff and get a little money; buyers get stuff for reasonable prices. The fact that it is city-wide encourages more people to participate and it's also a great social event to get together with neighbors. In these tough economic times and with mounting interest in the three-Rs of the environment (reduce, reuse, recycle), holding this annually seems to be good all round.

Will there be a citywide garage sale this year!! this was a lot of fun and great community participation, you really get to know your neighbors and the people around the community, and sell a little. Luv this event!!!!!!!!
