Should Benest be the one who should really leave ?

Original post made by National Enquirer, Community Center, on Mar 30, 2007

Emily Harrison has been suspended. If the tussle is between Frank and Emily I strongly suggest Frank be the one to be let go.

Look at the announcements, Frank does appear to be the one to have suspended her, it was someone else. How could Frank suspend her if he was part of the conflict. Emily was a rising star and a potential treat to Frank.

Maybe the City politics is unraveling.

All this speculation and finger pointing is "getting out of hand". Let's just all wait (take a deep breath) until more information becomes available.

Who got let go? If no one, moot point.
Maybe Emily will enjoy Cabo for Spring Break.

No one was "let go". Just three weeks off without pay. You are the same person who started this topic- stop changing your name to make it look like other people are thinking like you!

To Fireman,

If you feel you have been treated unfairly, then hire a lawyer and plea your case. If you have a case (with PA), then a court of law would rule in your favor.

Tim.. Do you think it is that simple...Fight a City that has public funds to fight you?? A city that has a personal/private force field. Went to a person to exam me for the city..After this exam this person said" Let me explain something to you..I work for the City, they contract my services and pay me.Now if I side with you I will not have my contract renewed. I will be fired" I think there are many other people that would like to make a change,as a group we can make a differance...One by one they will silence you..

Mr wallis..Sorry it took time to get back to you..For thinks to be so disfunctional there has to be many things wroung..Are union is one of them..Or several members of the board who owe much to the city and past fire chief..Pay Back..The problems with the City have been going on for a very long time..I have had years of problems with The Fire department management for 6 years or so before I resigned with the union doing very little. Most members do not trust the union. Towards the end I called a union Lawyer who informed me that I was not the client but the union would be..This would make the information we talked about avalible to members of the union board. He then informed me that with his deals with the union in the past that this information would be give to the city.Leaked. He felt that it would be very difficult to work this way.. We have several rats in the union and department..
