I really don't like going to T&C anymore, its too hard to park and there is always construction going on.....This has really made it hard for the businesses and loyal shoppers! I'm very disappointed!!! No more shopping at T&C for me!

I'm still going to T&C. It's a little inconvenient, but I like Spot Pizza and Sushi House too much to stay away. I'm not sure why they are putting so much work into the parking lot though--I don't remember it being in such bad shape beforehand. I do hope they finish soon though. And they are lucky they have all the Paly students to keep the lunch business going.

I am not frustrated by spending a few extra minutes to find parking. I appreciate that the owners of TC did not destroy the buildings and are investing a great deal in maintaining original structures. In these times people seem to complain when the old structures are replaced, this is the desirable situation when they are preserved. It is a time to support the store owners who have not left Palo Alto. Even if the TC owners made a few poor choices (Cookbook) it is still great to support our local merchants of Palo Alto.

The new driving pattern completed and being constructed is a driver's nightmare - and
a walker's hazard. All those raised curbs in the parking lot surrounding spaces for trees and 'gathering spots' make it difficult to get in and out of cars especially for the disabled using walkers. Cars can barely pass each other in the recently constructed parking areas and driveways. There are raised curbs for no reason all over the place. The entrances and exits are very difficult. I've gotten used to not going to T&C although I love Douce France, and on occasion I have to go to the shoe store or Four-Eyes. Other than that, other shops I patronized are now gone. I wish Midtown would get more than hair and nail salons and
cleaners and drug stores. If the new owners try to turn T & C into a high priced boutique
type of place, I won't miss it either.

It would have been easier just to shut down the center during construction, but that would have been a disaster for the shops. They could have buldozed everything and built out to the max. Respect them for respecting the trademark.
