Where is Diana Diamond?

Original post made by GSB, Mountain View, on Feb 23, 2007

She hasn't posted anything since mid January. Is she still with the Weekly?

I'm glad you raised this, GSB. I too have wondered , checking daily for her brave, incisive, and provocative voice. Let's hope she's simply resting a bit and not permanently silent or silenced.

Clearly PA Weekly and Bill Johnson are monitoring this forum, as evident by their quick hand in censoring posts that they feel are not civil enough.

Can they please answer this simple question, whether Diana Diamond is still with the Weekly? Or do they find this question not civil enough by their standards?

Bill Johnson is a registered user.

Diana is still writing for us (she is a freelancer and has another full-time job.) She has a column and posting coming out this week and is currently on a once a month schedule. The frequency of her postings on Town Square is at her discretion (she's not compensated for it) and subject to other demands on her time. Glad you appreciate her!

There is a thread on censorship by the Palo Alto Weekly staff in the "All Categories" portion of this forum.

Thank goodness that she is still around. I've noticed that I haven't been able to sleep without reading some of her soothing words before I lay down to rest. She's got such a wonderful way with words, not to mention an acute ability to put me to sleep.
