A list of local residents who died recently:

Lawrence Cecil Lamb a resident of Palo Alto, died after a brief illness on Feb. 23. He was 94;

Jeanne Waggener Kline Smith, 77, a former longtime resident of Palo Alto who helped create the field of estate organization in 1992 with the launch of her business Exit Stage Right, died Feb. 26, in Cotati. She was 77; John S Thompson, a Palo Alto resident and WWII Navy veteran who received his MBA at Stanford University, died Feb. 25. He was 96; Radu Calin Toma, an East Palo Alto resident who taught at Palo Alto High School and was adjunct professor of mathematics at Canada College, died on Feb. 13. He was 60; Gladys Winn, a lifelong Palo Alto resident and award-winning piano recitalist who began performing at age 9, died Oct. 18, 2021. She was 100; Robert "Bob" Witte, a longtime Palo Alto resident who earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University, died Feb. 19. He was 90.
