I am SO saddened by the passing of this amazing man. Leo was fiercely passionate about family and community; my many years at the Palo Alto Weekly were a highlight of my time with him. He loved what the Weekly stood for, of course, because he was all about integrity and doing the right thing. Our families grew up together - dearest Jeanne, my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. What a treasure of a human he was. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I grew up around the Ware family, Lincoln was Leonard and Jeane's son and we grew up together. Mr. Ware and my Dad were good friends and listening to the conversations they had together over the years was always fascinating. Mr. Ware had an amazing sense of humor and a big, booming laugh to back it up. It was always fun when our families got together and I will really miss him.
