So what are the potential risks exactly if people are wearing masks and restaurants follow protocol?

@nametherisks... 1) that people/restaurants don't follow protocol; 2) that the protocol is flawed or insufficient; 3) that an earthquake or other emergency derails the protocol, causing panic; 4) that angry folks creat a ruckus claiming that the protocols are an infringement on their civil liberties... all of these and more, are the risks that need to be weighed against the benefits.

I doubt if there is any way to check if all at a table are in the same household. Even room mates often still have their ID at a previous (parents) address.

Do restaurants want to turn away potential customers by looking at ID of everyone in the group? No they want the customers.

There are a lot of people walking around downtown Palo Alto without masks. They should put up barricades and only allow people wearing masks inside the pedestrian zone.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch today from Onigilly and went to view the impressive Black Lives Matter mural on Hamilton between Bryant and Ramona.

We went to Walburgers yesterday and enjoyed watching all of the people out getting some fresh air and exercise. Good idea.
