Don C. DeJongh, 74, a 27-year resident of Palo Alto, died suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2011.
Survivors include Miriam DeJongh, his wife of 51 years; their children, Fritz, Matt, Katie and their spouses; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 600 Colorado Ave., Palo Alto, on Monday, Aug. 8, at 5 p.m. Gifts in Don's memory may be made to the Peninsula Open Space Trust, or the American Red Cross disaster services, Silicon Valley chapter.
