Freshman Corinne Zanolli was named a first team selection and three other Stanford players were named second team Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region on Monday, tying a program record for most players on the region team, most recently last year.

Kelsey Bing, Sarah Helgeson and Katie Keyser received second team honors in the West Region and all four are eligible for All-America recognition, which will be announced next Tuesday.

The honor is the third for Helgeson, second for Bing and firsts for Keyser and Zanolli, who scored a team best 40 points (15 goals, 10 assists).

Zanolli was also a three-time AEC Rookie of the Week recipient and one of four freshmen who started.

The Cardinal (13-9, 4-2) collected its second America East Conference title, in its third year in the conference, en route to the program's 16th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Bing and Zanolli claimed America East Goalkeeper of the Year and Rookie of the Year respectively, while six Cardinal players were named to the America East West Division Team: Kristina Bassi, Bing, Keyser, Nina Randolph, Millie Stefanowicz and Zanolli.

Zanolli, Frances Carstens and Sarah Johnson were named to the all-Rookie team.

Stanford completed its record-setting ninth consecutive winning season, the past eight under Tara Danielson.
