Palo Alto airs it out in SCVAL football win over Falcons

The Palo Alto football team got the band back together and went on a mission Friday night, turning Homecoming into a celebration.

Jackson Chryst threw for three touchdowns and Paul Jackson III scored three touchdowns as the Vikings scored four times in the second half to pull away from Saratoga in a 42-21 SCVAL De Anza Division victory.

The Vikings (2-6, 2-2) host Los Altos on Senior Night next Friday at 7 p.m. with a chance to make the postseason party.

The way the season began for Paly, competing for a playoff spot was more of a pipe dream. It seems a bit more real these days.

With Chryst and Jackson III as healthy as they've been all year, the Vikings clicked offensively.
