The annual Book Arts Jam, presented by the Bay Area Book Artists (BABA), will be held Sunday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palo Alto Elks Lodge, 4249 El Camino Real. Admission is free.
This year’s celebration of all things printed and bookish will include hands-on crafting activities, a printing-press demonstration, a member’s exhibition gallery, around 30 vendors selling their work and a special focus on wearable art. Clothing and accessories made from books will be on display.
BABA is a Palo Alto-based group that welcomes new members who share a passion for book arts. There are no membership fees, and meetings are held monthly at Greendell School.
