Menlo College freshman Amanda Nebozuk was named Golden State Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Oaks sophomore women's volleyball player Jade Rockwood was named the GSAC Setter of the Week it was learned Monday.

Nebozuk recorded two goals and an assist as Menlo won both of its matches last week. She scored the eventual game-winning goal for Menlo on Thursday against San Diego Christian and then scored the Oaks first goal in a victory over Arizona Christian.

Nebozuk, who took 10 shots, has three goals and three assists as one of Menlo's scoring threats.

The Oaks travel to Rocklin to take on William Jessup on Saturday with kickoff slated for 11:00 a.m.

Rockwood represents the sixth time a Menlo player has taken home a weekly honor. She had 26 assists, eight digs, and one kill in a four-set victory over Pacific Union.

Menlo plays William Jessup on Saturday at 2 p.m. as the Oaks look to solidify their chances of making the playoffs in the GSAC.
