Naomi Mindelzun at Gallery 9

The work of Palo Alto artist Naomi Mindelzun will be on display at Gallery 9 in Los Altos (143 Main St.) through Oct. 29.

Over the course of her artistic journey, Mindelzun said, she has been fascinated by the challenge of capturing the natural world in paint. Using a variety of materials, she searches for common structures within both the natural and human-made realms.

"Working with a palette that ranges from the lightest pastels to the darkest oils, she explores forms both real and imagined, seeking in their architecture the mysteries of our seen world," according to her artist's statement. Gallery 9 is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. on Sundays. Go to Gallery 9.
