'Bacon, Blues & Brews'

The latest of Facebook's community festivals will celebrate "bacon, brews & blues," with a bacon competition, live blues music and a beer garden. Admission is free; food and drink available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the EPA Art Center and the Redwood City Police Activity League. There's also a free kids' fun zone, art and music activities, a farmers market and artisan vendors. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at Facebook, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, 12-5 p.m. Go to FB events.
