A week after going five sets in a win over UC Merced, host Menlo College made it a bit easier on itself by sweeping the Bobcats, 25-23, 25-16, 25-13, Wednesday in its home opener.

Maggie McDonald, a product of Notre Dame-Belmont and two local club teams, led the way with 14 points on 13 kills and a pair of block assists for the Oaks (5-1), who meet Great Falls on Friday at 1 p.m. on opening day of the Menlo Tournament.
