PUBLIC AGENDA: school district goals; Comp Plan discussion

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of Aug. 7.

CITY COUNCIL ... The council will not meet this week.

BOARD OF EDUCATION ... The school board will hold a study session to discuss the district's 2017-18 goals. The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the district office, 25 Churchill Ave. View the full agenda here.

PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ... The commission plans to review the Context Sensitive Solutions alternatives analysis plan for the rail program, as well as the problem statement, goals and performance measures for the community conversation about grade separations; and continue its discussion of the Comprehensive Plan update, with a focus on Land Use and Transportation elements. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. View the full agenda here.
