Woman photographs man who exposed himself

Man was caught masturbating just 6 feet away from the woman

A man who exposed himself to a woman in Palo Alto's Evergreen Park neighborhood on Monday morning didn't flee quickly enough to prevent the woman from taking a photo of him, police said.

The woman, who was in her 20s, was talking on her cellphone while standing at a parking lot near Park Avenue and El Camino Real around 11 a.m. when she saw the man walk past her heading west on Park Avenue, police said in a press release.

The man then turned around, walked toward the woman and made eye contact with her. The woman saw the man's pants were down to his thighs and he was masturbating in full view just 6 feet away from her, police said.

The woman cursed at the man and took a photo of him as he walked away east on Park, according to police.

She described the man as Hispanic and in his early 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, around 170 pounds and with a pencil-thin mustache.

Good job taking a photo of the perp. So much more accurate than trying to remember what he looked like to tell the cops later.

Oh I now see she just got a pic of him walking away.... my post was removed when I asked to see photo (assuming it would show face) to help identify him in neighborhood.
