No More Years is a registered user.

I beg to differ on some of these: Jing Jing is absolutely filthy as restaurants go, and my whole extended family got food poisoning there three years ago.

Accent Arts, unfortunately, is soon to close for good.

Asian Box may be cheap, but the service is awful, the wait long, and there is nowhere to sit other than one communal table, which people have been seen fighting over.

Mayfield Bakery has the worst servers and service, especially on Sunday's!

Last Belle does NOT have good skincare! My neighbor, an esthetician, says it is has a couple of unhealthy practices and is way behind the times. Parasol, though a little pricey, is the hands-down best and most thorough.

Many of these picks are a joke- some winners are not in palo alto. Some winners have no real competetion-- there are 2 bagel places in palo alto- so izzys is the best of the two? That is just one example.

Many of these restaurants are not very good at all and I can't help but wonder who voted for them! Same can be said for the retail, all though there aren't a lot of choices anymore.

However, there are a LOT of choices for day spas, estheticians, hair and nail salons, etc. La Belle most certainly was NOT worth mentioning.

Also not worth mentioning: JingJing, LYFE Kitchen, Leaf and Petal, Zombie Runner, Palo Alto Bicycles. There are better alternatives for all of these!
