A Halloween harvest

Portola Valley hosts Harvest Fest

On Thursday, Oct. 29, the Portola Valley Farmers Market will offer food trucks, beer and oysters, a pumpkin patch, crafts and music as part of its annual Harvest Festival. There will also be mask making and an Imagination Playground (from 3-5 p.m.), a costume parade (4 p.m.), pumpkin carving in the Redwood Grove (4:15 p.m.) and Webb Ranch train rides (from 4-6 p.m.). The free community event runs 3-6:30 p.m. at Portola Valley Town Center, 765 Portola Road. For more information, go to portolavalley.net or email maggiefoard@mac.com.
