VIDEO: Sky-high views of Palo Alto landmarks

 

Ralph Britton, president of the Palo Alto Airport Association, takes the Weekly in a flight over Palo Alto -- to Foothills Park and back -- during Airport Day on Sunday, Sept. 29. It may have been the last Airport Day while under Santa Clara County's control. The City of Palo Alto plans to take the reins late next year. Video by Eric Van Susteren.

What were the two WWII vintage ... looked like trainers ... visible in the beginning of the video. Were they the same type? That era of aircraft are the most beautiful. It's amazing how many airplanes the US produced out here on the West coast
