Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you prefer a bright breakfast, a shining sandwich, or radiant ratatouille, there is common love between us. Hello sunbeam. We are the solar–powered Food Partiers! Recently I found myself in the warmth of the new pop up at Four Seasons, East Palo Alto – 1001 Nights. The resort transforms their outside patio twice a year into interactive spaces of food and fun.

Habibi Tini: rose pedal garnish and a spritz of rose water

The menu is filled with authentic tastes of Middle Eastern cocktails and faire, that you can mix and match for a full meal. Saffron, pine nut and rose water are on full display, and the quality of the food shines through. As always, they design the space in a creative style, with mosaic patterns, lanterns and colorful fabric. Don your Moroccan pants and enjoy a quick trip to the east. Pop up runs through September 15th, and open for lunch (Mon – Fri 11AM – 3 PM) and dinner (Mon – Sun 5 PM – 9:30 PM). For a schedule of entertainment (belly dancing, henna artists and live music), see the website.

Because summer always goes by way too fast, here’s a few more places to Food Party! outside while the season is in full swing. Please share your suggestions in the comment section.
