What's Missing This Holiday Season?

Uploaded: Dec 11, 2020
When our son told me that a friend of his was reading “The Missing Piece," I quickly put it on hold at our local library. Our daughter is learning how to read and I thought this book would be great for us to read together. I remembered reading The Missing Piece as a child and enjoying the circle's journey.

This book was a great conversation starter for us to talk about the past year. It brings up lots of important questions. What hardships did we face? What were our favorite memories? What are we still missing? What are we enjoying as we countdown the days until Christmas and a new year?

This year I’m adding a copy of The Missing Piece to our stack of beloved Christmas books. This book definitely helped me talk about the ups and downs of 2020 with our kids in an age-appropriate way.
