With the blizzard on the East Coast, our son is hearing all about snow this week.
We’ve talked about which distant friends and relatives are affected by the blizzard and which are nowhere near it. We’ve looked at Facebook posts, YouTube videos and news stories related to the blizzard. And, not surprisingly, we ended up talking most about how the blizzard has severely impacted transportation.
It’s not always easy to find current events that are appropriate to discuss with a preschooler. But I enjoy working them into our conversations whenever I can.
