Getting Closer to Death

Uploaded: Dec 31, 2014
We had a trial run night before last. My mom was still breathing, but frozen and non-responsive. After a few hours, she did respond and is back to "normal" ill.

It is so hard to see her ill. She was never sick until last year, at age 78, when she got cancer. She can still be "plucky" (her word) and feisty (my word) when needed.

I ran into a friend who has a new grandbaby. Another just got a difficult diagnosis. Life is full of, well, life, and death. We can only love our best, do our best, and clear up miscommunications.

Happy New Year.
Democracy.
What is it worth to you?

You are a good DBC, daughter-by-choice. Keep reading those Poems and being there.
