Red, White and Blues

Uploaded: Jul 3, 2014
Earlier in the week, we posted a list of local food companies to support on July 2. Any body out there get the chance, or know of any of the companies directly?

Now that the date is past ? I re-post the recipe at the end of the blog, a terrific July 4th creation. Kids love making and eating Creamy Strawberries with the Blues - I know because it's one of the dishes we make when Snack Attack! goes into the schools.

Make it a family affair ? go together to the farmers market for the strawberries and soft cheese (probably not the blueberries ? but you never know). Then create a hands on station for assembly.

Get the recipe for Creamy Strawberries with the Blues here. You can always use regular cream cheese if you don't have a cheesemonger at your farmers market.

Have a terrific 4th of July!
