Clarification Clarification (December 16, 2005)

The story in Wednesday's edition about the City of Palo Alto's failure to notify the media about a special meeting of the Utilities Advisory Commission last Wednesday, Dec. 7 failed to mention all of the places the meeting was noticed. According to city staff, notices were posted 24 hours beforehand at the Downtown Library and the Main Library. On the day of the meeting, a notice was also posted at the third floor and the lobby of the Civic Center. The media, however, was not notified, as the Brown Act appears to require.
