Are the shoes made in the US? If not, then I could care less that the inside of the store is made from re-cycle products.

@Josh - From their website:

"Where are KEEN shoes, bags and socks made?

The majority of our products are made in China and Vietnam. We are making strides to evolve our manufacturing and distribution processes to a regional model. A new manufacturing facility has been established in the United States."

Keen Garage was the first store we visited in the US when we landed half a year ago - to no regret ever since. As of myself, I am still wearing the pair of shoes I got there every day (unless it's heavy rain), and they fit me ideally and still look like new and are as strong as on the first day, no single scratch or any other trace of aging, though I walk and bike a lot, and everybody likes them; every week or two someone turns to me at a bus stops or train platform just to say they are cool or ask where I bought them.

The personnel are extremely friendly, and the interior of the store is very unusual and innovative; my kids liked it a lot, especially the turning wheel that moves the shelves up and down.
