The Daily Post today ran a headline story today which I thought was shoddy and mean spirited. "Bully confesses" used the public comments of a young man who recently spoke at a school board meeting, to write a partial version of the events. I had heard about this case and what the Post wrote does not sound right. The young man was first pushed around by a student, and he reacted after also repeatedly asking for help. At the board meeting he was not "confessing," as he appears to have never previously denied anything. I don't know this young man, but I am sorry that a local Journal did this to him.
I have found the Daily Post to be shoddy before, but I admit I grab it because of the quick, and abridged portrait format, as opposed to a lengthy regular newspaper. Advertisers will not be reaching me through the Daily Post anymore, and I was thinking that you need to put out a Daily with a similar format?
