I have said all along that rail is in the future of this state, but not necessarily this particular project which is expensive and already outdated.

I would prefer to see another route than the peninsula and another system, perhaps a single rail system.

Don't be so negative. Our grandchildren need to have modern infrastructure in place because they will not be the same people as us, or our grandparents.

Paul,

There is something that you ,and everybody else, who opposes HSR, can do:

Sign the petition to put it back on the ballot. A real grassroots thing. We don't need to try and twist arms of politicians...we simply take it to the people.

Perhaps you can ask our current city council members to sign, since they now claim to be against HSR.
