East Palo Alto's Ravenswood City School District is in talks to sell or exchange acres of property -- including its own headquarters -- to an office developer.

I don't see how these would contribute to a reduction in crime, since they won't be helping the people of East Palo Alto or addressing any of the underlying factors of crime.

What is needed are jobs. I hope the city will make it mandatory to hire from within the city. But you know all the developers are using undocumented workers when we have high unemployment in our communities. Each job should have a quota for legal US citizens. This is another disenfranchisement move on the part of America..no other country would allow 11 million illegal workers come into their country when they have high unemployment. Hell you cant own property in Mexico unless you are a native citizen. I am just saying. Where is the New Deal for Americans
