Anybody have the scoop?

I just learned from a neighbor that asked that a woman was killed crossing the street. I didn't go to get any more details. I'm sorry for her family.

Very sad. Embarcadero is a 25mph street, but many cars go much much faster. Newell is right next to the main library, art center, and Rinconada park, so there are a lot of pedestrians. This isn't the first time a pedestrian has been killed on Embarcadero. Until drivers start obeying the speed limit, it won't be the last.

RIP-- shall we wait for the facts before condemning drivers?

KGO News reporting that a woman has been struck by a vehicle and has died. Very sad. Prayers for her friends and family.

"Jay walking" in that area is a big problem - a BIG problem. Don't condemn the driver before you know the facts.
