Man cited for attack at Cogswell Plaza

A 49-year-old man was cited for assault and battery after he allegedly tore a man's shirt and kicked the victim in the shins on Sunday, Feb. 3, Palo Alto police Agent Jean Bready said.

Agreed. Printing this sort of stuff saves the Weekly having to do any investigative reporting, however.

It is news because people have a reasonable expectation not to be physically attacked, and it is happening more often than it should.

Quit complaining, it's reasonable to print trends in police reports. If you don't care I think you don't have to read it. Some people will complain about anything.
