Wonder what the total street value of these text books was?
Interesting that a cop from Menlo Park walks—having been caught engaging a prostitute while on the job walks .. a killer from Redwood City goes free .. and this poor schlub gets hard time (40 months) for stealing some books—that have little value outside a very narrow educational setting. (BTW—what’s this costing the taxpayer—this 40 months in the pokey? Is it really worth putting this yoyo on ice, for what is no doubt hundreds of thousands of our dollars—because of a few books?)
