Third consecutive Spare the Air alert issued

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued a Winter Spare the Air alert for Friday, prohibiting the use of wood-burning devices. It is the third consecutive day such an alert has been issued.

Until the wind picks up, a "Spare the Air Alert" should be called everyday. It's pretty hazy and fireplace smoke hangs near the ground on these cold evenings.
