Alan, Thanks for leaving Palo Alto with a hideous, offensive JCC building.

Palo Alto's loss is Chicago's gain. Alan is a wonderful asset to the JCC. It was terrific to work with him and everyone else at the JCC, during the many years the "To Life! Jewish Cultural Street Fair" was held on California Avenue.

Alan's expertise, friendly, competent and collaborative management will be greatly missed. For everything he and everyone at the JCC has done to share their rich culture with the community, thank you!

As an aside, this may be a good forum to share that I am really liking the looks of the Oshman Center. At first, I wondered about the size and the placement. But when I'm at the stop sign on Charleston & San Antonio, the building gets more & more interesting to me. I like its varied roof lines and the colors. I've been there twice, for events, and it's as nice inside as it is outside.
