Palo Alto to hold Tree Lighting event Friday

Palo Alto plans to usher in the holiday season this Friday -- rain or shine -- with a Holiday Tree Lighting event in the city's most prominent downtown plaza.

PAPD is telling us to stay away from downtown or anywhere near Stanford because of a football game. It is going to rain.

Double Whammy - poor timing. Such a shame for the kids.
