DMT isn't meth... They may have had meth there but that's not the same thing as being a meth lab, there's a significant difference. The production of meth produces explosive and toxic by-products, the production of DMT does not.

DMT is a natural substance found in many plants and animals including humans. It can be distilled from different natural sources. It can also be produced synthetically in a lab, but this is less common. It's hard to tell from this article but it sounds like they might have been producing synthetic DMT rather than just distilling natural DMT

Mexican drug cartels don't make much money on pot. People need to open there eyes and realize that marijuana is not a cash crop for them, especially in California. The majority of the Pot here is usually grown by people who have been cultivating it since the 70's. Quit trying to blame the cartels for this it's just ignorant.

Mr Smith: Have you ever gone hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, come upon some "non-native species" of obviously well-cultivated plants, and heard Hispanic voices in the distance? Or hollering at you in a Spanish dialect?

Suffice it to say, I turned around and ran for the road. And I never hike too far from the road anymore, anywhere in the woods. May not have been a cartel crop, but who is to say it was not? Circumstantial evidence made it appear to be, and I was not going to stick around and find out..

Ducatigirl always has a story to share!

Such an interesting life. Always in the thick of it, whether an Italian villa with the elite aristocracy of Europe, a tete a tete with the heads of Cisco, Intel, etc.., or the intrigue stumbling upon a Cartel pot farm up in the hills.

Oh, DO puhleeeeze tell us morrrrrrre!

Oh, wait! You did!

Nine consecutive posts on everything from ambulance speeds in EPA to how to get a teen up in the morning to "Toxic mold forming in ... Chinese drywall" (I can't make this stuff up!)

We are SO blessed to have ducat!

Please share more, we can hardly wait!

Write A book?!?!?

Are you crazy????

She (he?) has enough material in her rich and FABULOUS life to have many books and strings of movies!

Along with a daily self-help column, daily advice column, daily society page column with all the rich and powerful that her "husband" associates with!

I do believe she will soon post on her cure for cancer.

After solving world peace, of course.

Some of the posters here on this thread need a reality check on themselves...just because a person has lived a "different lifestyle" than they have personally had, it is hard for them to understand that STUFF REALLY DOES HAPPEN outside of their little bubbles.......Make fun of what you don't understand...but guess what???? "STUFF" does happen......................................

Oh yes..and "the Drug Cartels" are NOT making money on pot? Stories I have heard about the Cartels involve beheadings, killings, etc, etc, over orders from head honchos over the DRUG WARS IN MEXICO. Don't you read the papers or listen to the news????? Granted we are only spoon fed "some" information. The REALITY would too gruesome for us to stomach the everyday goings on of the power struggles of the underground....who have reared their ugly heads and are still running amok...........

"Stories I have heard about the Cartels involve beheadings"

Sounds like you-know-who!

Cartels do not run pot farms up in the hills around here.

Check with your husband and his European economist friends.
