Sherrod Brown, Claire McCaskel beats akin, Tammy Baldwin (fist lesbian senator) and on and on.

The Dems defended the senate against overwhelming odds (defending 27 of 33 seats).

Wow.

The Koch Brothers and Adelson and the rest of the Rove billionaires just wasted hundred of millions.

Oh, and some guy name Obama did pretty good.

I am relieved Obama was re-elected, and things look worse in the future for racists and elitists even if it is going to take a generation to see fruition of that trend.

Elizabeth Warren was elected in Massachusetts, and that makes me happy.

Colorado legalized recreational marijuana which seems kind of unbelievable but a huge sign of change.

Sad to see the GMO labeling thing fail, very stupid on Californians part.

> Our country is headed the direction of Western Europe

How many times are we going to hear this unqualified statement?

Western Europe is having problems because they were stupid enough to invest in American securitized crap mortgages and were hit with the consequences just like we were. Germany has pretty well rebounded, and through it all they have not dumped on their people like we seem to intend to do.

There is a book that talks about the real state of America called "It's Time To Start Thinking" by Edward Luce you might want to take a look at. We do indeed need to start thinking and stop being driven by slogans and fears on both sides.

Because it is 4 years on and we really have done nothing to address the problem or to keep it from happening again, let alone addressing and infrastructure that engineering groups say will cost of almost half a trillion a year just to keep in the bad shape it's in now.

Maybe or maybe not socialism is the answer, but the way we do capitalism is not leading much that is positive.

"we are going to tax and spend our way into massive debt and socialism." Note that these silly statements never appeared from the far right fringe when Reagan tripled the national debt, or Bush doubled it.

Nor did I hear the fringe complement Bill Clinton on the 23 million jobs created during his presidency, or the Clinton balanced budgets.

Four more years, of fringie doom and gloom, of lies and hyperbole from the right wing echo chamber.

Four more years.

Just awesome!

Whoot!

Yea, President Obama! Way to go, Team Dem!
