Barron Park Market Grand Opening Today

Original post made by qq on Jul 20, 2007

Just got home from a morning walk and Barron Park Market looks stocked up for today's grand opening. Lots of fresh fruit in the front windows, and produce in the back. Saw two large totes of watermelons too.

Can't wait!

Right next to the Barron Park Florist, on El Camino.

Just got back from Barron Park Market. All I can say is, it roxors! I got a SEEDED watermelon ($0.25/lb, Whole Foods, when they have it, is $0.49/lb), a beautiful bag of cherries ($3.99/lb), a cantaloupe (0.39/lb), a honeydew (0.69/lb), some ears of corn ($0.42 each), and a couple of Jarritos ($0.85 each) for less than $13 bucks. Wow, keep it up BPM!

I went to the BPM today and it is nice. Great deals on everything! All the food also looks very good, especially the produce. People should check it out....It is worth the trip down there.

I liked it too. Excellent fruit, good veggies too. Friendly neighborhood service - real old time. I hope everybody comes out and supports it. If you live in Barron Park or Ventura, it is a no-brainer - it is right there on El Camino.
