I don't live in Palo Alto, but I found this Forum after it was mentioned in my town's Square Forum (Pleasanton). I recently posted something here and received many helpful, respectful, thoughtful replies. The reason I didn't post on my own town's Square Forum is because it's mostly utilized by people looking to criticize (not constructive criticism) and be as derogatory as possible. They don't come off as intelligent, however, but pathetic, ignorant and mean-spirited. I appreciate the decent population on this Forum.
