Feb. 3 "Live in Peace" march and rally in East Palo Alto: the story behind the story
Around Town, posted by Michael Levin, a resident of the South of Midtown neighborhood, on Jan 27, 2007 at 5:39 pm

Town Square readers might be interested to know a little more about the "Live in Peace" march and rally taking place February 3, 2007 in East Palo Alto.

Because this is coming directly from youth and young adults in East Palo Alto it looks like it is of much more significance than a symbolic gesture on the part of the City in response to recent violence.

If you read some of the thoughts of the young East Palo Alto residents taking the lead on this you will see what I mean.

You can find a collection of edited emails from these organizers on the www.epa.net website at:

Thanks for taking a look,

Michael Levin
