Hidden Villa, a non-profit farm and environmental education center in Los Altos Hills has a CSA program that you can subscribe to and pick up a weekly basket of organic vegetables at a Palo Alto drop-off location. But it just operates between spring and late fall.

Whole Foods is great here. The ones back East may be having problems - in RI the main one in Providence is not so hot.

I'm very fond of Two Small Farms, which operates out of Watsonville and has several drop-off locations in Palo Alto. Again, they deliver from March through November, so I rely on the Milk Pail Market on San Antonio Rd for wintertime veggies and treats.

DeMartini's Produce on San Antonio in Los Altos, near Foothill Expressway. Great selection - many organic products. Fresher than Whole Foods.

The Menlo Park Farmers Market is open year round - Sundays from 9am-1pm in the parking plaza behind the Santa Cruz Ave Wells Fargo.

There's a company called Farm Fresh to You. I found them on the web and they were delivering *great* seasonal produce from their farm. I had broccoli from them that I couldn't use fast enough. After 4 weeks, I thought it would have gone bad. When I checked it, the flowers had *bloomed*! It was still just fine to eat too.

Anyway, I never had a disappointing box from them. I just ran out of time to cook.
