School Area Advisory Board
Schools & Kids, posted by Jane Doe, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Aug 30, 2006 at 3:26 pm

There is an advisory board preparing to look into the boundaries of our local schools at the elementary, middle and high schools with the first working meeting on Sept 11. This committee is looking for opinions from all in the community who would like to comment. Most of the comments are coming from those who already have children in PA schools, but if you do not have children in school yet, you may not be aware that this is happening and it may affect you. If you wish to make a comment to this committee, then ask at your local school office for the name of that school representative and they can give you details of who to contact.

This is important for all of us with the new housing developments, local traffic issues, progression of which middle and high schools follow from which elementary schools and even the possibility of reopening schools. So if you do have an opinion, let it be heard.

If they don't investigate sunsetting Tinsley then they might as well just nibble their cookies and go home.

I hope they let all JLS kids go to Gunn.
