Star One Credit Union

Star One will be opening a new credit union at ECR and Ventura Ave (the previous location of Hollywood Video) on Tuesday. Anyone use them have any comments (good or bad) about them?

Well, I signed up with the Palo Alto Community Federal Credit Union.

They are right on Ramona, and unlike all the others, they are very specific to Palo Alto. They don't charge any fees and you get free access to 20,000 ATMs (even the other credit unions' ATMs!)

I also found their loan rates to be lower than anyone else I can find in Palo Alto.
