Pass a stopped car on the right and lose your job. Have a years long history of [portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff] and get a slap on the wrist.

Can someone out there tell me what will it take to start a Grand Jury investigation of corruption in Palo Alto Municipal Government?

Hello .. Talk to me. This has been going on for far to long. It is a scam. So many crimals working in the upper management of this city. The City has been lost in space. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] Do not waste your time with the citizens, they are being rip off and can't even figure it out. A class action law suit at the least. Remember very one has someone who owes some thing to someone who runs this city. It is the Toxic waste dunp of City management. If you are a crook or a hitler want to be and can not get a job any place else. Go to Palo Alto they will give you a job and millions to waste. You will also get paid very nicely to do so.

I cannot believe this. There are so may vipers at CPA. Are people that unhappy that they have to make other people miserable. Why can't people go to work and do their job. Instead the management of CPA is looking for someone to target & do not know what they are doing. It is a crying shame.

There is so much corruption happening every day from employees "of the people" that it is heart sickening. We pay dearly, in many ways, for these so called professionals that do not know, or choose to ignore laws and rules stated in their own city handbook. HARASSMENT IS ILLEGAL, and to take someone's career because he did not jump on the illegal bandwagon should be taken very seriously. All of us should just take a moment to realize what it would be like to be in "Brandon's position." If it can happen to him -- juust like the apparent paranoid feeling of the city employees -- what can prevent it from happening to you?

POWERS THAT BE -- OUT THERE -- GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND DO SOMETHING!!!!! We will be watching.

What a tragedy. I happen to know Brandon and I know how much he loved his job. If his driving record was an issue why wasn't it addressed while he was a temporary employee? Further, why would you offer him a permanent position if his reads were off? There is something that smells real funny here and residents need to take notice. I hope City Council Members read this and take action. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!

Yes the management of the CPA is full of vipers. It seems that to climb the ladder it is not how much you know but,how low you will go. Not how fair you will treat the people who work for you but,how fast and hard you will screw them over.If they whisper a word about how inept, incompetent, soulless and heartless the leaders of this City and its Departments are. If you look back in the past you will see that I am the one with the big mouth, telling you the citizens how corrupt this City is,how many illegal action and how much harrasment takes place.ie Ms Harrison's 3 week vacation. Brandon is not the only one in this position. It cost me my career. 20 years. Some say fight the City. How many of you have tens of thousands+++ of dollars to do this? Do you think Brandon has? This is the City that told me"It does not matter if you are right{legal} We are the City of Palo Alto we have more money, time, power and resources. We will break you" The money they use is the money the citizens are not or won't get for street repair, sewer repair, libraries and all the other programs that do not get funded or are cut.Yes you do pay dearly. Funny how Frank always gets his bonus? The powers to be are you the public. You are the ones who must stand up.One,two,three.One by one the #'s will grow. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] Look at the first thing the Fire Cheif said when the City refused to lower the flags for the 2 Contra Costa Firefighters who lost there lives. ,"No comment& I play by the rules" Then after the citizens and the Firefighter from other City's start to reject what was going on. Remember "Spineless" He had time to see that he had put his foot in his mouth and how inept and heartless he looked. Then the City Counsel most likely told him that it was OK for him to say something. He went into damage control mode.Spineless = inept and incompetent, souless and corrupt.I have written proof of his illegal actions. At least Brandon's union is not as corrupt and powerless as the Firefighters union I belonged to while in the PAFD.His is saying something. Brandon, myself and so many other people/workers/citizens have been trying to reach you the public, for you are the ones who can do something. The only ones!! You must demanned you must make noise. Words such as'Oh well" come from people who have no courage to stand up and fight for what is right" They are the ones who close the curtains, then say I did not see or hear anything. People like this walk behind there bosses with there lips puckered up at waist level.

City employees attend countless classes on harrassment and violence in the workplace; yet, nothing sinks in. I think the problem is more about poor choices in promoting rank and file employees into management positions than it is about out of touch department heads. Most of these problems have festered for years. We are only witnessing their manifestations. Most city supervisors and managers are not college educated. Read the job descriptions for these positions.
