Firefighters rescue man from San Francisquito Creek

Palo Alto firefighters rescued a man who fell down an embankment toward San Francisquito Creek on Wednesday afternoon.

Where is the homeless camping area at the creek? Why are the homeless allowed to camp at the creek? I would be scared to walk by that area - it sounds like crimes waiting to happen, and a place for the homeless people to dispose of "garbage," etc., into the creek.
