Local swim teams will be happy to have some of their top swimmers back this week as the spring season gets fully under way. Most of those top swimmers spent last weekend in Texas, competing for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics at the Speedo Champion Series/Southern Zone meet in College Station.

These kids are blazing fast. Curtis Ogren and Ally Howe are among the top recruits in the United States. Not only would Ogren's 100 breast time break the existing CCS record, but his 200 IM would have as well. Best of all, they are both Juniors. PASA seems to be doing everything right.

Just so we don't have another HS soccer meltdown - the kids are PASA team members and as long as they haven't competed in a HS meet this season, there are no issues. Once they start competing for the HS team, they have to swim "unattached" until the HS season is over.
