Gunn wrestlers just miss pinning down another title

SCVAL Championships

Gunn senior Eric Cramer (126) and sophomore Ian Cramer (132) both won their respective weight divisions, but the Titans needed a few more as they came up short in defending their title at the SCVAL Wrestling Championships on Saturday at Homestead High.

Palo Alto Qualified 7 of their 10 SCVAL wrestlers to CCS (possibly 8)

152 lbs - Sr. Gary Hohbach - 1st

197 lbs - Jr. Andrew Frick - 1st

170 lbs - Sr. Erik Anderson - 4th

160 lbs - Jr. Jordan Gans - 4th

106 lbs - So. James Giaccia - 4th

138 lbs - Fr. Eric Oshima - 4th

220 lbs - Sr. Alex Taussig - 5th

Wrestling will be dropped from the Olympics in 2020

We need to change this decision
