Georgie Gleim receives Athena Award

Georgie Gleim, the second-generation owner of Gleim's Jewelers in downtown Palo Alto with a decades-long record of community leadership, has been named the 2007 winner of the prestigious Athena Award by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce. The award, to be presented at a luncheon Sept. 12 at the Garden Court Hotel, recognizes contributions by women in Palo Alto.
